NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 Ti and RTX 2080 Benchmark Review
Monster Hunter: World
Monster Hunter: World is an action role-playing game developed and published by Capcom. A part of the Monster Hunter series, it was released worldwide for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in January 2018, with a Microsoft Windows version in August 2018.
The game uses a modified version of Capcom’s internally developed MT Framework engine which provided a minimum of 30 frames per seconds on all platforms.
We used ‘high’ image quality settings and used FRAPS to manually benchmark a section of the game that was repeatable.
Benchmark Results: Monster Hunter: World is alarming tough on graphics cards with the highest graphics cards settings. Not even the mighty GeForce RTX 2080 Ti could average 60 FPS on this game title at 4K, but at 52 FPS it was miles ahead of the other cards. This is one of those titles that you want to crank everything up on it and run it at 1440P or use a G-Sync or Adaptive Sync display if you want all the eye candy.
