NVIDIA GeForce GTX 570 Video Card Priced At $369 Online
NVIDIA hasn’t even announced the GeForce GTX 570 video card, but if you do a search for the cards online you can find listed for sale with prices starting at $369.49 at a site called Bottom Line Telecommunications. The EVGA GeForce GTX 570 appears to be listed all over the place and one store has part number 012-P3-1570-TR for sale at $369.49. They also list the following information in the page title: GEFORCE GTX 570 PCIE 2.0 1280MB GDDR5 DVI-I MINI-HDMI 732MHZ. From this we can see that the card has 1280MB of GDDR5 memory and we can assume that the core clock speed is 732MHz. The same company has a SuperClocked edition of the card listed as well at $391.66. It looks like the GeForce GTX 570 graphics card is coming out very soon! This card is rumored to have 480 CUDA Cores (the same as the GTX480, but 32 less than the GTX580) and uses the same exact GF110 Fermi core that is used on the GTX580.
We know a little bit about the GTX 570s specs thanks to a leak from Nvidia partner Palit found on a Swedish tech site. Compared to its recently released GTX 580 sibling, the new card has fewer CUDA cores (480 vs. 512), less DDR5 memory (1.28GB vs. 1.5GB), and slower clocks speeds. Of course it will cost less, too, but we dont know pricing yet. It should also run a little cooler as well.
