NVIDIA Announces that GeForce GTX 1050/Ti Laptops Now Available
As things warm up for CES 2017 in Las Vegas, NVIDIA is getting the ball rolling by announcing that the GeForce GTX 1050/Ti GPUs are now officially available on laptops! As notebooks continue to take market share from desktops, one of the biggest roadblocks from completely abandoning the desktop PC is the lack of high-end GPU horsepower available on reasonably sized laptops. Not to mention the battery drain these can have, making for short gaming sessions when not jacked into an AC outlet. Gaming laptops are also growing faster than consoles so expect to see continued focus on bringing more powerful and efficient GPUs to the mobile platform.
