NVIDIA CEO Jen-Hsun Huang Says The 2013 Fiscal Year Will Be Good

NVIDIA CEO Jen-Hsun Huang said the company expects growth across its entire graphics processing unit and mobile-processor business in the year to come. That bullish statement made yesterday during his 2013 fiscal outlook speech got investors attention. The company said it expects revenue for its fiscal year 2013, which begins Jan. 30, 2012, to be in the range of $4.7 billion to $5 billion. Analysts had expected sales of $4.45 billion.

“We see growth across our entire GPU and mobile-processor business,” said Jen-Hsun Huang, NVIDIA president and chief executive officer. “The future for computing is visual and mobile, and we are well positioned to lead in this new era.”
