Nintendo’s Miitomo Android App Goes Away May 9

By

Nintendo has had some very cool and popular apps for smartphone users like Super Mario Run and others. You may not remember its very first Android app, it was called Miitomo. Nintendo has announced that the app will no longer be available after May 9, 2018.

Nintendo says that the sale of Miitomo coins ended on January 24. However, it wants people to continue to use the app through May 9 when it finally dies. Since you can’t buy any more Miitomo coins, Nintendo will be giving some away.

Daily login bonuses through the end of life for the app will give away coins and game tickets to let users continue to play Miitomo Drop and use features like the Miitomo shop. As of May 9, when a player launches the app they will see a message saying that service has ended.

None of the app functions will work after that end of service date. There will be no further access to answers or messages in the app and there will be no way to use items that were obtained in the app like clothing, wallpapers, or posters. Players can transfer their Mii characters to their Nintendo Account by linking it to the app.
