Nintendo Labo Replacement Parts Now Available
Nintendo Labo is the cool creation kit that is available for the Switch that lets adults and kids make cool contraptions out of cardboard and then use them to control games. The idea behind the Switch accessory is very cool, but many might have wondered just how long the cardboard creation would last. After all, building a cardboard robot suit for your kids is sure to mean that lots of stomping around will be performed.
Nintendo had said at the announcement of Labo that replacement parts would be available for the kits. Those replacement parts are now on the Nintendo store. There are sheets of cardboard parts for all the Labo toys from the piano and motorcycle to the sheets for the robot kit. The kits cost between $5.99 and $11.99 for the cardboard.
A Labo Variety Kit accessory pack with the bands and other items will sell for $9.99. Reflective sticker sheets for the robot are offered for $1.99. The replacement parts should mean that once your kids fall in love with Labo, you can keep them playing if they want.
It appears that you can buy enough parts to make another complete accessory too. If you have more than one kid needing a robot suit, this is a big deal.
