Nintendo Kills Soulja Boy Game Consoles

One of the stranger things to happen this year was rapper Soulja Boy launching his own line of game consoles. Stranger than a rapper schilling game consoles packed with emulation software was that people were buying the consoles. Nintendo didn’t waste much time in putting a stop to these unlicensed game consoles and the ROMs that were running on them.

The website for the Soulja Boy game consoles is Souljagame.com and it used to direct you to the website for the rapper turned console seller. That web address now redirects to the Nintendo 3DS store reports NintendoLife.

I don’t think anyone, but perhaps Soulja Boy is surprised that Nintendo has destroyed these consoles. We have to wonder how much money Nintendo will get in a settlement from this deal.
