NVIDIA has given us a heads up that brand new 3D Vision drivers (v1.34 CD / v259.32) have been released just in time for the PGA Golf Championships. The PGA Tour’s last major tournament of the year is being broadcast in 3D and and NVIDIA wants to make sure we have the best seats in the house.

NVIDIA 3D Vision and the PGA Championships

3D Vision drivers v1.34 CD (v259.32) now available on NVIDIA.com. This driver fix improves support for our 3D Vision web streaming architecture by adding support for Google Chrome and FireFox 4. We did this driver release in time for the 2010 PGA Championship, which is being broadcast in 3D. This is the PGA Tours last major tournament of the season, and to capture the action eight 3D cameras will be stationed on the par-3 12th and 17th holes at Whistling Straits from 3:00 p.m. 7:00 p.m. ET on Thursday, August 12th and Friday, August 13th.
