Netgear ReadyNas Ultra 2 Plus – What’s in the Box?
Netgear included everything a user would need to setup a NAS device for the first time. Included is one high quality Ethernet Cable, a Power Brick and Power Cable, Users Manual, CD containing the NAS’ software.
The front of the Netgear ReadyNas Ultra 2 Plus Front Panel contains LED indicators for the status of the two available Hard Drives, as well as an LED for any activity on the NAS itself. Also on the front of the unit is the power button, and one USB 3.0 Port. The entire NAS Unit is made of Aluminum, with a small door covering the drive caddies, which is held closed with two small strong magnets. It is nice to see a manufactuer opting for a metal casing and door instead of a plastic casing.
On the back of the Netgear ReadyNas Ultra 2 Plus we find two gigabit Ethernet ports, two USB 2.0 ports, and the power connector. Also on the back of the unit is a K-Lock Security Slot, and a dead silent 90MM Fan.
