MyDigitalSSD BPX Blowout Sale – 480GB NVMe SSD For $139.99
MyDigitalSSD is getting ready to launch new BPX Pro PCIe NVMe SSDs based on the Phison E12 controller. Since they are getting ready to roll out new models, they are looking to clear out whatever inventory remains of the MyDigitalSSD BPX series that was introduced in 2016 by aggressively slashing prices on that series. The MyDigitalSSD BPX 480GB drive has been bounced around $199 to $229 for most of time on Amazon, but overnight that price was slashed down to $139.99 or $0.29 per GB. A very nice price for an NVMe drive that is backed by a 5-year warranty and that is $40 lower than it has ever been!
The MyDigitalSSD BPX series offers sequential speeds of up to 2,600MB/s read and 1,300MB/s write. Legit Reviews did a review on this drive back in 2017 and found it to be a wicked fast drive. Our performance testing showed the drive topped out at 2,961 MB/s read and 2,320 MB/s write in ATTO Disk Benchmark, which was way over the drives rated speeds. We also hit around 240,000 IOPS for Random 4K read/write performance. Those numbers are still impressive over 1.5 years later and for $139 it is hard to beat.
If $139.99 is still a bit much, the MyDigitalSSD BPX 240GB model has dropped to $79.99 shipped and the BPX 120GB is now $49.99 shipped. The MyDigitalSSD BPX Blowout sale will be the the last chance to get a Phison E7 controlled drive with Toshiba/SanDisk 15nm 2D MLC NAND Flash. If you are a fan of 2-bit MLC NAND Flash this might be the deal that you have been waiting for!
