MyCharge Updates Mobile Device Charging With Type-C
MyCharge Updates Mobile Device Charging
MyCharge is one of a dozen companies that specialize in charging portable devices, they have a range of portable device chargers to suite almost any need. Their devices include the features that users need such as Hyper-Charging, Rapid Recharge, battery power retention for up to a year, and simultaneously charging a device and the charger at the same time. In 2015, one of the major updates to USB took place, with the new universal Type-C connector. Like most companies, MyCharge is implementing Type-C on their devices. Rather than implementing it slowly, MyCharge is implementing it across their entire catalog.
One of their more popular line is the Hub series, which includes a short charging cables with either Lighting and MicroUSB or Lightning and USB-C. Several of the models in the Hub series also includes fold-out power prongs to make recharging the battery convenient. The Hub-C, which is their most powerful model at 12,000mAh carries a $119.99 price tag.
Portable batteries is not all that MyCharge offers, they are also now developing stations to make charging your devices easier. A new line of wall outlets, PowerBase, will allow you to charge multiple devices at a time using a single AC outlet. These will range in price depending on the number of USB ports, starting out around $14.99 and go up to $34.99.
If you prefer to hide the power outlet and have a station to plug in the USB cable of choice, their new PowerHub makes it easy to charge up to five devices simply by plugging in a USB cable. The Power-Extend 3 will have a MSRP of $29.99, or step up to the Power-Extend5 with a MSRP of $39.99. For those looking for Type-C charging, the Power-Extend-C has a MSRP of $49.99.
The final new line is their PowerGear line, here a small battery is packaged inside of a carrying case designed to recharge your fitness tracker, ear buds or smart watches while on the go. When a small device needs to be charged, simply connect it to the PowerGear case, and then toss the case into a pocket or bag without worrying about whether it’ll get damaged.
Finally, those of you into fashion and want your portable charger to look stylish, MyCharge is updating their StylePower line with slightly more powerful batteries and new patterns. Check out MyCharge’s website for more information on their product line.
