MSI Z97I Gaming AC Mini-ITX Motherboard Review
Grand Theft Auto V
Grand Theft Auto V, currently one of the hottest PC games, was finally released for the PC on April 14, 2015. Developed by Rockstar, it is set in 2013, the city of Los Santos. It utilizes the Rockstar Advanced Game Engine (RAGE) which Rockstar has been using since 2006, with multiple updates for technology improvements.
We will be testing GTA V using the Very High graphic settings, Anisotropic Filtering set to X8 and Reflection MSAA set at X8. For the Resolution we will be pushing 4K settings with 3840×2160. With the randomness of an open world environment, we used the integrated benchmark for GTA V, we ran it three times and averaged the results.
Benchmark Results: As we have come to expect, there is little difference between the MSI mITX motherboard and Gigabytes mATX motherboard in gaming performance. The older generation B85N motherboard however continues to fall behind the updated motherboards, with a little more than 1FPS, there isn’t really much difference though.
