X264 HD Video Encoding
Video encoding is an important task in today’s world. X264 HD Benchmark is a great way to see how well a computer can encode a HD quality video using the x264 encoder. Using the same video clip and settings makes it a prime candidate for an easily reproducible performance test. It runs the process through several passes and presents the results in Frame per Second for each of the passes.
Benchmark Results: The first pass there was about 0.5FPS difference between the two Z97 motherboards, and the second pass even less of a difference. Once again showing that if you need a system to do X264 video encoding, you can build a great system around a mITX motherboard now.
