MSI N680GTX Lightning Video Card Getting Full Coverage Waterblock
EK Water Blocks plans to release a Full-Cover water block for the MSI N680GTX Lightning graphics card next month if all goes as planned. The upcoming EK-FC680 GTX Lightning (abbrevated as ‘LTG’) water block is full-coverage, which means it will directly cool the GPU, RAM and VRM (voltage regulation module) as water will flow directly over these critical areas. This should drastically drop temperatures and unlock more overclocking headroom. The EK-FC680 GTX Lightning water block features a very high flow design, so it should work with a wide variety of water pumps.
Base of the water block will be made of nickel plated electrolytic copper while the top will be made of quality POM Acetal material. Up to four EK-FC680 GTX Lightning series water blocks could be interconnected with EK-FC Bridge & Link system. The correct connection link for this water block will – ofcourse – already be enclosed with the product.
