MSI Launches MS-9893 Using Latest Intel Atom Platform

MSI has launched the MS-9893 which will be using Intel’s latest Atom Platform. This allows the MS-9893 to have multiple display outputs in a mini-ITX form factor board, thus offering the highest HD graphic quality. Using the 32nm process has also allowed for lower power consumption while offering greater media performance with enhanced graphics. The MSI MS-9893 as we mentioned supports multiple display outputs, which include single Channel 18/24 bit LVDS, VGA and one HDMI. The board’s graphics performance is of course a major selling point as it offers support for up to 1080p high definition video. The MSI MS-9893 will be outfitted with single-channel DDR3 1066 MHz memory and supports a maximum of 4GB via 1 x 204 SO-DIMM slot. CPU support includes the D2550 and N2800 which are 10W and 6.5W respectively. Expansion connectivity will include 6 COM-ports, 6 USB 2.0, 8 GPIO, and one PCI slot as well as one Mini-PCIe slot for m-SATA / wireless functions. MSI MS-9893 is equipped with single-channel DDR3 1066 MHz memory up to a maximum of 4 GB in 1 x 204 SO-DIMM slots. MS-9893 supports D2550(10W) / N2800(6.5W) two SKU, with VGA, HDMI, Video Output: LVDS/ Single CH 24bit by D2550 (LVDS/ Single CH 18bit by N2800). Power Input support, one ATX for D2550, and another is DC-in 12V for D2550 / N2800. I/O, and expansion connectivity, including 6* COM-ports(2 x Real, 4 x Internal), 6* USB2.0(4 x Real, 2 x Internal), and 8*GPIO(4 x GPI, 4 x GPO), one PCI slot and one Mini-PCIe slot could support the m-SATA/wireless function.
