MSI has announced today the release of their new enthusiast-oriented NVIDIA GeForce GTX 670 Power Edition graphics cards. The GTX 670 Power Edition (P/N: N670GTX PE 2GD5/OC and N670GTX PE 2GD5), these new GPUs come with all the features one would expect from MSI’s enthusiast-level products such as “Triple Overvoltage”, stronger PWM for better overclocking and the new “Twin Frozr IV” heatsink. The new heatsink, which uses Dust Removal and Propeller Blade technology, offers an increase of 20% more air flow compared to typical fans and reduces temps by up to 20C with the accompanying noise levels being reduced by 11.7dB. That said, MSI isn’t just about better cooling, the GeForce GTX 670 Power Edition also gets a boost in overclocking potential by 22.5% due in part to Afterbruner’s Triple Overvoltage which allows users to adjust the voltages on the GPU, Memory, and VDDCI. The MSI GeForce GTX 670 Power Edition OC will come clocked at 1019 MHz on the core, with a Boost clock of 1079, while the 2GB of GDDR5 will be clocked at 6008 MHz. The standard GTX 670 Power Edition will come with standard clocks. Pricing and availability on these new graphics cards has yet to be announced.
