More Pictures of the Futuristic-Looking Inno3D iChill Liquid Cooled GTX 680

By

We recently brought you news of Inno3D’s upcoming water cooled GTX 680. Today, we can bring you some more pictures of this interesting graphics card, which have surfaced at mydrivers.com. The cooler is Arctic Cooling’s hybrid water-air cooler and as such has the usual pipes and radiator/fan arrangement. However, being a hybrid design, it also has a fan on the card itself to augment the cooling power of the liquid cooling system.

Features of this cooler are a dual slot design, two tubes entering the back of the card and going to a 120mm radiator and fan. A couple of rumoured performance figures are a decrease in load temperature to a decidedly cool 44C and a factory GPU overclock to 1200MHz (1006MHz on a reference card). The most striking thing about this card however must be the styling, since the cooling shroud has a smart, distinctly futuristic look to it that will appeal to fans of sci-fi.

Inno3D reports that this model will have a maximum noise level of 10% of any reference air cooled model, which would be around 7dB. Card is equipped with standard display connectors: two DVI, HDMI and DisplayPort. This card should be available this month. Price is not yet known.
