Monster Hunter World Update Adds Deviljho Monster and New Gear
Fans of Monster Hunter World have a new free update coming for the game later this month. The update has been detailed and it will bring with it an anticipated new monster called the Deviljho. Along with the new monster will come accompanying gear that can be crafted and other changes to the game.
The parts form that monster will allow players to craft two new armor sets called Vangis and Vangis . A new “entry” for all 14 weapon types will be added including new designs for Sword, Shield, Hunting Horn, Bow, Insect Glaive, and Charge Blade.
The update will launch on March 22 for PS4 and Xbox One bringing both games to version 2.0. The update also brings balance changes to all weapon types with melee weapons reportedly seeing the largest changes.
Specific changes include Gunlance getting an attack damage increase and a reduction in sharpness lost when shelling. Capcom will also be making attempts to address user’s complaints about online griefing that is used to prevent teammates from carving and rob them of rewards. Allies will no longer be able to interrupt the carving animation reports GameSpot.
