Minecraft Village & Pillage Update Has Left a Mess

The Minecraft Village & Pillage update was hailed as the largest update yet for the popular game. It added in new behaviors for the villagers and a pillager foe to fight. The problem for players is that the update has introduced some issues too.

The AI of the villagers has gone a bit off the rails with villagers stealing beds, reproducing rapidly, and claiming land that players build as their own. Players complain that villagers have been found sleeping eyes open in their beds.

A player in one instance says that the villager found sleeping in his home had somehow gained access despite a locked iron door. Other issues have included a trader endlessly sprinting around a village so players can’t interact with them reports PC Gamer.

Another group of villagers spent an entire night walking up and down stairs. Another player found a group of villagers breeding behind a bookcase in their home. There is no word on a fix for the issues at this time.
