Microsoft is to bring a modified version of its Internet Explorer 9 web browser to the Xbox 360. A significant enhancement compared to the standard PC version, is that it will be controllable using Kinect, bringing gestures and voice control to the browser. One use for this, will be to enhance Bing search functionality by making searches quicker. It’s currently undergoing testing with no word of a release date. However, with E3 coming up, official details from Microsoft should appear within a few weeks.

Kinect support is not mandatory according to our sources, but the browser is said to be tuned for Kinect usage.
