Microsoft drops Mac IE

Looks like Microsoft didn’t get as many Mac IE users as they had hoped. But this is not new news as Microsoft announced earlier in the year that it will drop Mac IE support, but didn’t give a date until December 16th. Mac IE was still on version 5, whereas Windows will be seeing version 7 in the relatively near future.
The minority of Mac users still browsing with Internet Explorer need to consider moving to another browser very quickly, as Microsoft plans to discontinue support for IE beginning Dec. 31.
