McAfee to Acquire Privately Held NitroSecurity
McAfee today announced a definitive agreement to acquire privately owned NitroSecurity. NitroSecurity is a leading provider of security information and event management (SIEM) solutions that provide complete visibility and situational awareness to protect critical information and infrastructure. Utilizing the industry’s fastest analytical tools, NitroSecurity identifies, correlates and remediates threats in minutes instead of hours, allowing organizations to quickly mitigate risks. Financial terms were not disclosed.
McAfee has taken another significant step toward this goal with the proposed acquisition of NitroSecurity. With NitroSecuritys technology and talent, McAfee can expand its reach into new markets, secure new platforms and strengthen its hold as the leader in the security risk management market.
