Mario Kart 8 Deluxe update Adds Link and His Horse-a-cycle
We have a Nintendo Switch in the house and the only reason we bought it was Mario Kart 8. If you are a fan of that game a new update has landed for Marko Kart 8 Deluxe that is free and adds Breath of the Wild items in-game. The Mater Cycle in the game has been updated with a new Breath of the Wild skin that looks like that horse motorcycle that Link cruises around on.
Other in-game items include the ability to dress Link in the tunic from the Switch game. Ancient customization parts are added for the game’s cars and gliders reports Kotaku. The update that brings these parts is ver 1.6.0.
The update is out now and as said before it is a free update. It’s nice to see new content and items coming to a game that doesn’t require gamers to shell out more money. Adding the new skin certainly isn’t a huge deal, but for fans of both Breath of the Wild and Mario Kart 8 will like it.
Things have been quiet on the Switch front of late with no major new games announced. Many were disappointed by the Nintendo E3 presentation and Nintendo’s stock price has suffered because of that. Nintendo’s outgoing president has said more unannounced games will land this year.
