MAINGEAR Using AMD Radeon HD 6990 in SHIFT and F131 Desktop PCs
MAINGEAR has announced that they have added the new AMD Radeon HD 6990 graphics card that combines two graphics cards in one and offers an incredible gaming experience and graphics acceleration for videos as part of their PC customization. The MAINGEAR SHIFT and F131 desktops will offer an option of the AMD Radeon HD 6990 graphics processor which harnesses the power of dual GPUs to unleash unrivaled performance. We took a look at the MAINGEAR website to configure a SHIFT with this new card. We found that the company uses Visiontek Radeon HD 6990 video cards and it costs $598 to upgrade to the card from a GeFoce GTX 460 1GB video card. If you want two cards the price increase jumps up to $1418.
