MAINGEAR Launches The PULSE 11 Ultraportable Gaming Laptop

Maingear has unveiled an 11.6-inch gaming notebook that is slim, yet packs a ton of hardcore gaming hardware inside. The new ultraportable notebook is called the Pulse 11 and inside the small frame you’ll find an Intel third-generation Core i7 ‘Ivy Bridge’ processor along with NVIDIA’s new GeForce GT 650M graphics card. With the 384 CUDA core GeForce GT 650 Kepler discrete graphics cards you can rest assured knowing that this DX11 GPU has the horsepower to play games on the 1366×768 LED-Backlit display. This notebook also has NVIDIA Optimus technology, so you can switch between graphics solutions and save power when you are not gaming. Pricing for the MAINGEAR Pulse 11 starts at $999 as is in direct competition with the Origin EON11-S. Both the Origin EON11-S and MAINGEAR Pulse 11 use the same notebook design from a third-party ODM manufacturer.
