Logitech SetPoint 6.22 Software

In order to get the tilt wheel working on the Logitech m305 wireless mouse we had to install SetPoint 6.22. Once we download the software we installed it and the program downloaded more updates for the mouse.

After the software was installed we found some pretty slick software that was broken down by four tabs on the left hand side. The sections were button setting, pointer and scrolling settings, game settings and mouse batteries. The first thing we did was go into button settings and change the tilt wheel to back and forward for better web browsing!

Under the ‘Pointer and Scrolling Settings’ you can adjust the pointer speed, which is very important as that is something nearly everyone adjusts. You can also adjust the scrolling line size and other features like smart move for the pointer.

The Logitech m305 isn’t a good gaming mouse, but if you are in a jam and it is all you have you can go into the ‘Game Settings’ menu and adjust some settings that work only when a game is detected by the software.

The final menu tells you the life status of the battery and when the battery does get low the software will alert you when that time comes about.
