Logitech G305 Wireless Gaming Mouse Debuts
Logitech rolled out a new wireless gaming mouse for PC gamers called the G305 Lightspeed Wireless Gaming Mouse. The mouse has a new HERO (High Efficiency Rated Optical) sensor inside that gives 400 IPS precision and up to 12,000 DPI sensitivity with no acceleration of smoothing. The fast Lightspeed wireless tech promises faster than wired gaming experience with a 1 MS report rate.
One of the big features of the wireless mouse is that it runs on an AA battery. Logitech promises that the battery can last for 250 hours of continuous gameplay in 1ms Performance mode on a single AA battery. When on Endurance mode with an 8MS report rate, the battery is good for up to nine months of play.
The G305 weighs in at 99 grams making it compact, light, and highly maneuverable. Black or white colors are offered and the mouse will launch this month for $59.99.
“For years, we have been committed to delivering wireless performance that was faster than our competitors wired offerings,” said Ujesh Desai, vice president and general manager of Logitech Gaming. “Through our work, wireless has advanced to the point where esports pros are trusting our innovative technology and winning with our wireless mice. With the G305 we wanted to bring the same top-of-the-line technology to everyone. G305 features our HERO sensor and LIGHTSPEED wireless all for $59.99. There’s never been a better time to go wireless.”
