Lenovo Releasing ThinkPad Tablet w/ NVIDIA Tegra 2 and Android 3.0
It looks like the rumors we heard a couple weeks about Lenovo releasing a new tablet PC in July were true. New information has been leaked out that shows Lenovo is working on their first tablet PC that is powered by an NVIDIA Tegra 2 Dual-Core CPU and running Android 3.0 (Honeycomb). The device doesn’t appear to be named yet, but the slides show that it has a target price of $499 and will be shipping in July. We expect the Lenovo ThinkPad Tablet PC to be on display at Computex 2011 in Taiwan.
Lenovo’s tablet features a 10.1-inch (1280 x 800) IPS touchscreen (with pen input support), an Nvidia Tegra 2 chip, 16, 32 or 64GB of internal storage, WiFi, 3G, Bluetooth and even optional 4G, front- and rear-facing cameras, an SD card slot, a mini HDMI outputs, USB and micro USB ports, and a battery life of up to 8 hours.
