Kingston Technology Ranked World’s Top DRAM Company

Kingston Technology recently announced it was ranked No. 1 in the world by independent research firm iSuppli in the third-party DRAM module market for the first six months of 2010. According to the report, Kingstons revenue from memory modules was more than $2.56 billion (U.S.), giving it 45.8 percent of the total third-party memory module market.

In 2009, iSuppli ranked Kingston as the worlds top memory module maker with revenues of more than $2.85 billion and a 40.3 percent share of the third-party DRAM market. The iSuppli report covers memory module revenue only. It does not cover Kingstons NAND Flash revenues. In February, Kingston announced that its 2009 global revenues were $4.1 billion, the second highest in company history.
