The SSD Benchmark Test System
Before we look at the numbers, lets take a brief look at the test system that was used. All testing was done on a fresh install of Windows 8.1 Pro 64-bit and benchmarks were completed on the desktop with no other software programs running. Windows has the power option set to high performance.

The readout on CrystalDiskInfo 6.1.14 shows that the Kingston SSDNow V310 960GB SSD supports S.M.A.R.T., APM, NCQ, and TRIM. The firmware version that we are running at the time of testing on the drive was S8FM07.6.
The Kingston SSDNow V310 960GB drive (1GB byte = 1,000,000,000 bytes) drive yields 894Gib (1Gib = 1,073,741,824 bytes) to the user after over provisioning and Windows formatting have their share.
