Kingston today announced the HyperX 3K SSD, a high-performance, lower priced solid-state drive enabling users to have a great user experience without breaking the bank. The drive uses the second-generation SandForce SF-2281 processor along with 3K Sync NAND (3k P/E Cycles) and runs on the SATA III (6Gb/s) interface. The HyperX 3K SSD comes in a black and aluminum enclosure, which looks different than the flagship HyperX SSD that has a blue enclosure.
