J&W Announces Tiny Cedar Trail Motherboards

By

J&W is one of the smaller motherboard manufacturers out there. However, this hasn’t stopped them from releasing a pair of innovative nano ITX motherboards based on Intel’s Atom D2x00 CPUs and the Intel NM10 chipset, packing a lot of features for their size. The boards measure 120mm by 120mm and come with the following connections/ports: HDMI, USB2.0 x4, USB2.0 header, gigabit ethernet, two audio jacks, SATA 3Gbps and a card reader. There are also options for an IR receiver and a 3G SIM card card slot. There is a single DDR3 memory slot supporting up to 4GB. Graphics is courtesy of Intel’s Power VR SGX545. The only difference between them appears to be the CPU. The ITX-IC5N1010 comes with an Atom dual core D2500 running at 1.86GHz with 1MB cache and the ITX-IC7N1011 has the slightly faster D2700 running at 2.13GHz. Chances are that the performance difference between them won’t be noticeable in everyday use and can only be differentiated using benchmarks. Note that this is an OEM only product, so will likely have to be purchased as part of a bare bones PC. There’s more pictures at the link below.
