INQUIRER snowed in, in Las Vegas

The weather is pretty awful today, snow off and on, cold hard rain, wind. Its so funny when i tell people I live here they can’t believe it ever even rains.
“ THERE?S ENOUGH snow flakes flying down here in Las Vegas for us to be able to say with strong conviction we?re snowed in.
The flakes started falling about an hour or so ago, and already it?s a few millimetres deep. This is usually enough to bring London to a standstill, Addy Rust told us in the past, so we assume the same thing is happening here too.
The monorail has probably ground to a halt, the taxis are probably queuing up on Sahara, and at the convention centre everything is probably waist deep.
I suppose I’d better give Adamson Rust a call. He must be freezing! Sheesh.”
