iBUYPOWER to Launch AMD Guinness World Record Edition PC
iBUYPOWER moments ago announced a new partnership with AMD who recently set a new Guinness World Record by overclocking an AMD processor, codenamed Bulldozer, to a jaw dropping 8.429 GHz. iBUYPOWER will offer a similarly configured, overclocked system called the Guinness World Edition featuring the 8-core AMD FX8150 processor later this fall. No word on pricing, but we are pretty darn sure that it won’t feature liquid helium cooling or a clock speed over 8GHz! Legit Reviews was there the day the world record was broken and you can see some pictures and images of that day here. We asked for pricing on the Guinness World Record Edition PC and iBUYPOWER was not willing to share that information this far in advance since the AMD processors are on the market yet.
