California-Based HyperX Is Dominating The PC Gaming Headset Market

Legit Reviews just got word from HyperX that they have shipped more than 4 Million headsets, an impressive feat for the company that first began producing headsets with the original Cloud back in April of 2014. The HyperX Cloud II with surround sound capability leads the pack in terms of total units moved, with 1.2 Million units being shipped. Legit Reviews has reviewed several of the HyperX Cloud series of headsets and have come away impressed with the HyperX offerings, as they offer a well-rounded package with acceptable sound quality, something other gaming headsets tend to lack. I currently use the HyperX Cloud Flight as my daily driver wireless PC gaming headset, with the Hyper X Cloud Alpha being used for wired duty.

With an emphasis on putting sound quality and comfort first, the HyperX lineup of headsets break the trend found on a lot of other gaming headsets, where an emphasis is placed on features like surround sound and RGB lighting. With value offerings like the Cloud Stinger available for $49.99 on Amazon, HyperX even has quality headsets available for gamers on a budget. HyperX headsets are now available in 15,000 stores, in over 100 countries and across 6 continents.

HyperX Cloud Revolver S Gaming Headset

We look forward to seeing what HyperX does next in the headset market, as each of their releases have been successful. The HyperX Cloud Flight sounded so good that I ended up disappointed that they didn’t also have a Bluetooth function so I could use them on the go in wireless mode with my cell phone, so perhaps HyperX will get on making a Special Edition? Legit Reviews has been working with HyperX for over fifteen years, so it is great to see the company do well and continue to provide consumers with excellent headsets into 2018 and beyond.
