HyperX Cloud Stinger Gaming Headset Review
Final Thoughts and Conclusions
It’s clear that the HyperX team’s main focus was to provide a durable, comfortable, and great sounding headset at a very competitive price. With the release of the HyperX Cloud Stinger it is clear that the development team delivered.
For $49.99 let’s summarize the standout pros and cons of the HyperX Cloud Stinger:
The only things we found negative about this headset was the lack of a surround sound (which is made up for by the price) and we prefer a headset with a microphone boom that can be removed. The great features of this headset of course start with the price at the top of the list. The range of use from music to videos to gaming surely grants the user an all-around positive experience when using the headset. Surely this isn’t the best headset on the market, but for $49.99 the quality of the HyperX Cloud Stinger makes the headset worth the money spent. In addition to the sound delivered by the HyperX Cloud Stinger we could use this headset all day due to the lightweight and HyperX memory foam padding. Normally, my headsets would become uncomfortable after a series of extended use since I wear glasses. The stiff foam padding on my more expensive headsets press the sides of my glasses into my head making it, at times, unbearable.
The HyperX Cloud Stinger can be purchased from Amazon for $49.99 shipped or directly from the Kingston website.
Legit Bottom Line: The HyperX Cloud Stinger is a greatly durable headset that delivers great sound quality and comfort for prolonged use at the very competitive price of $49.99 USD.
