HyperX Alloy FPS Mechanical Gaming Keyboard By Kingston At IDF16
When we stopped by the Kingston booth at IDF 2016 we noticed that there was a HyperX gaming keyboard on display! It turns out that Kingston has entered the gaming keyboard market and the first model, HyperX Alloy FPS, is already available in five select countries. Those countries would be Australia, China, Mexico, Russia and the Ukraine.
From what we gather it will possibly be coming to North America sometime in Q4 launch and will likely be priced around $100. Right now it is selling in Australia for $159 and that comes out to being $119 USD. Kingston went with Cherry MX Blue mechanical switches with this model that are rated for 50 million key stroke. This keyboard model is aimed at first person shooter fans since it’s compact and doesn’t have macro keys. The keyboard features 100% Anti-Ghosting and FULL N-key rollover in Game Mode. We aren’t sure how many modes are available, but obviously there will be more than just a gaming mode.
