HP is going after the eSports audience with the HP EX950 M.2 SSD series and that does seem like a good fit. The HP EX950 1TB and 2TB drives did exceptionally well in our game load time test! In the other benchmarks was very competitive since it has rated sequential read speeds of up to 3500MB/s and sequential write speeds of up to 2900MB/s. In our testing we managed to reach 3450 MB/s and 3300 MB/s, respectively. This drive will be a good fit on any desktop motherboard or in a gaming laptop or workstation that needs solid performance.

Pricing on the 512GB drive runs $79.99 shipped, the 1TB model is $149.99 shipped, and the largest 2TB model is $276.97 shipped. Price per GB breaks down to being $0.16 for the 512GB drive, $0.15 for the 1TB model and $0.14 on the 2TB capacity SSD. If you are looking for the lowest price per GB, the 2TB capacity offers the best bang for the buck.
