Half-Life 2 Coming To NVIDIA SHIELD and We Have Crowbar To Prove It
This morning we got what looked to be a package for posters and signage dropped off by FedEx and we weren’t expecting anything like that to be dropped off. When we opened up the package we quickly discovered that it was a bright NVIDIA green colored crowbar!
Last week we got a cake from NVIDIA to celebrate the coming release of Portal for Android for the NVIDIA SHIELD, so maybe NVIDIA was up to something again.
The only thing on the crowbar was a Half-Life 2 and NVIDIA SHIELD logo along with the words “What Would Gordon Do.” It appears that Valve also ported over Half-Life 2 to Android and that means it will also be joining over 300 SHIELD-supported Android games in the very near future! Here is a video that might help some of the folks that have no clue who Gordon Freeman is.
The NVIDIA SHIELD recently had its price slashed to $199.99 shipped and now we have big name game titles by Valve (Portal and Half-Life 2) coming out, so the NVIDIA SHIELD is certainly becoming a very interesting gaming device. Sorry we couldn’t confirm that Half-Life 3 is actively in development at Valve, but who doesn’t like Half-Life 2?
Thanks to our friends over at NVIDIA and XFX we have been able to put together our very own bug out bag for when things go bad and you need to kill some zombies on the run! In 2012 we received a pry bar from NVIDIA to coincide with the release of the GeForce GTX 690 graphics card. Now we have both a pry bar and a crowbar to pack in our survival supplies.
