Google Assistant Makes it Easier to Find Your Car
It can be hard to find where you parked your car in some instances. Maybe you parked in a field for a concert or event only to come back and find hundreds of more vehicles in the same area. Perhaps you are just the forgetful sort. Google Assistant is bringing back a feature that automatically remembers where you parked.
Some users are finding a new card in Google Assistant that shows where they parked. It doesn’t require any interaction to use like the similar feature on Google Maps does reports 9to5Google. The feature estimates where you parked by telling when you stopped driving and started walking.
If you did manually save a parking spot on Google Maps, the information on the card would be more accurate. The feature doesn’t use Android Auto other Bluetooth to make more precise location information.
It might not be super accurate, but if the feature can get you within hearing distance, most can use a key fob to honk the horn. If you are close enough, it might also let you see your car in a crowded lot. The feature is reportedly randomly rolling out to users.
