The GA-Z97X-UD5H BK is part of Gigabyte’s Ultra-Durable line, however it is a Black Edition and is basically the GA-Z97X-UD5H that has passed a full week (168 hours) of additional stability testing and has had the heatsinks swapped out for black ones that have gold accents. This board also has a longer 5-year warranty, but other than that it is the same thing as the Z97X-UDH. This board is expected to cost an extra $10 to $20 and some will happily pay that to get an extended warranty and to move away from the gold colored heatsinks.
