Metro: Last Light is a first-person shooter video game developed by Ukrainian studio 4A Games and published by Deep Silver. The game is set in a post-apocalyptic world and features action-oriented gameplay with a combination of survival horror elements. It uses the 4A Game engine and was released in May 2013.

Benchmark Results: The GIGABYTE Z87X-UD3H was once again able to take a slight lead of the ASUS ROG Maximus VI Hero motherboard. But that’s not the big news, at 1280×1024 the Z87X-UD3H was able to outperform the Intel ‘Ivy Bridge’ system by 6.553 fps or 38%! Increasing the resolution to 1920×1080 the GIGABYTE Z87X-UD3H was able to average 16.717 frames per second which is 36.6% faster than the 12.24 fps average on the MSI Z77A-GD65.
Metro Last Light – ASUS NVIDIA GeForce GTX 670 DirectCU II
Benchmark Results: The GIGABYTE Z87X-UD3H Intel Z87 motherboard was able to average 63.237 frames per second at 1280×1024 and 47.473 frames per second at 1920×1080. At 1280×1024 this is a improvement of nearly 1.8 fps or2.9% over the MSI Z77A-GD65 Gaming ‘Ivy Bridge’ system. Once we bumped up the resolution to 1920×1080 the average frame rate dropped to 47.473 frames per second on the GIGABYTE Z87X-UD3H, though it’s still nearly 1.9% faster than the Intel ‘Ivy Bridge’ system.
