GIGABYTE Unveils Ultra Durable 5 Technology At Computex

By

GIGABYTE has announced today their latest Ultra Durable 5 technology, which makes use of high current capable components to deliver the best quality in power delivery to the CPU. This new step forward should bring record-breaking performance along with cooler and more efficient operation in order to extend the lifespan of new Ultra-Durable 5 branded motherboards. GIGABYTE will accomplish this by using the highest rated and awarded IR3550 PowlRstage ICs from none other then International Rectifier, high current Ferrite Core Chokes which are rated at 60A, along with the 2x Copper PCB they are already well known for. Currently GIGABYTE is the exclusive motherboard manufacturer to utilize the IR3550 PowlRstage ICs and with their 95% peak efficiency rating, lower power loss and temps up to 60C lower during lab testing. The new GIGABYTE x79 Ultra-Durable 5 motherboards (GA-X79S-UP5 WIFI, GA-X79S-UP5, GA-X79-UP4) and Z77 motherboards (GA-Z77X-UP7, GA-Z77X-UP5, TH GA-Z77X-UP4 TH), look to bring a new level of quality and performance to enthusiasts, all thanks to their latest Ultra-Durable 5 technology.
