Gigabyte Launches 11.6″ Notebook That Weighs Just 975g!

Gigabyte today launched the X11 ultra thin form factor notebook, which is available in a carbon fiber version that weighs just 975g or 2.15lbs! The design details of X11 are also impressive, with the thinnest part stand at only 0.3cm, the thickest part at 1.65cm. Not a bad weight for an 11.6-inch notebook, but wait till you learn what is inside this notebook. This notebook is powered by the 3rd generation Intel Core processors (Ivy Bridge) and storage needs are handled by a 128GB solid-state drive. To top things off you even have SuperSpeed USB3.0 and Bluetooth 4.0 functionality. Gigabyte expects X11 to be made available in July with pricing starting at $999.
