CINEBENCH is a real-world cross platform test suite that evaluates your computer’s performance capabilities. CINEBENCH is based on MAXON’s award-winning animation software CINEMA 4D, which is used extensively by studios and production houses worldwide for 3D content creation. MAXON software has been used in blockbuster movies such as Iron Man 3, Oblivion, Life of Pi or Prometheus and many more.

Benchmark Results: There isn’t much of a difference between the ASUS and the GIGABYTE X99-UD4P, though the GIGABYTE X99-UD4P was able to edge out the ASUS counterpart by a hair. While running the single core benchmark the X99-UD4P scored 139 while the ASUS X99 board hit 137, during the multicore test which utilizes all available processing power, the GIGABYTE X99-UD4P hit 1326 while the ASUS was just behind at 1323.
