Overclocking

Overclocking on the Gigabyte GA-MA790FXT-UD5P motherboard was extremely easy… the settings you chose either worked, or they didn’t. This board did very well for itself, and certainly is a board that any overclocker would want to look at.

Our first overclocking efforts were done with default multiplier. The results:

Yes, we got up to 279MHz base clock which gave us an overclock over the 1Ghz mark, which is awesome! We then wanted to see how far we could push the fsb, and we got the following results…

Again, over a 1Ghz overclock as we pushed the base clock to 319MHz! This board was just awesome in this part of our testing!
