AMD AM3+ motherboard pictures are leaking out faster than we can get them all up! We just ran across images of the Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD7 motherboard, which is likely the flagship 990FX chipset based board for AMD’s Zambezi desktop processors. For those that don’t know, AMD’s next-generation FX Series processors (codename Zambezi) come in the AM3+ form-factor and are compatible with AM3+ motherboards powered by AMD 9-series core-logic chipsets. Expect Gigabyte to make the GA-990FXA-UD7 official in the next few weeks. We put half a dozen of the images in the forums, so be sure to follow the link below to see all of the images.

Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD7 motherboard

The GA-990FXA-UD7 comes with an all-black PCB and features an Ultra Durable 3 design, 8+2 phase power, four DDR3 memory slots, eight SATA 6.0 Gbps ports (six are ‘powered’ by the southbridge, the grey ones are linked to a Marvell controller), and six PCI-Express x16 slots which allow for SLI or CrossFireX multi-GPU setups. Also included are two USB 3.0 ports (two more are available via a header), Gigabit Ethernet, dual eSATA, FireWire, 7.1 channel audio, a debut LED, an angled SATA power connector, and Power, Reset and Clear CMOS buttons.
