Gigabyte AMD X370 and B350 Board Prices – 8-Core CPU and Board For $424

Gigabyte has passed along their MSRP price sheet for the four AMD AM4 motherboards that they making available for pre-order this morning.

The flagship AMD X370 chipset board for the time being is the Gigabyte AX370-Gaming 5 that is priced at $194.99. There will be more AMD X370 chispet baords available, but that is the only one they are making available for pre-order today.

The Gigabyte AB350 Gaming 3 (pictured below) runs $109.99 and is ideal for those that only plan on running one discrete graphics card.

The most interesting board to us would be the Gigabyte AB350M Gaming 3 that is priced at $94.99.

You can purchase the Gigabyte GA-AB350M-Gaming 3 for $94.99 and then the AMD Ryzen 7 1700 8-core processor for $329. That means for as little as $423.99 you can get an 8-core, 16-thread processor with a 3.0 GHz base clock and a 3.7 GHz boost clock. Not a bad deal and the AMD B350 motherboard supports overclocking!

The AMD B350 chipset has less USB, SATA and PCIe lanes, but for mainstream systems using just one video cards it should be a very interesting platform. We’ll find out just how good it is in the days ahead!
