GeForce GTX 980 Ti Video Cards Pictures – ASUS, MSI & Gigabyte

By

Videocardz has posted up a handful of pictures from ASUS, Gigabyte and MSI that shows off their upcoming GeForce GTX 980 Ti video cards. It looks like all of the companies are using NVIDIA reference designs for the GeForce GTX 980 Ti video card launch. We expect to see custom cards from the Add-In-Board (AIB) partners in the weeks ahead that will help differentiate the cards from one another with improved GPU coolers, the addition of backplates and so on. The NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980 Ti launch must be close since all these images keep coming out!

The cards are believed to have the GM200 ‘Maxwell’ GPU with 2,816 CUDA cores and 6GB GDDR5 Hynix memory on a 384-bit interface. It looks like the 6GB of memory rumor was correct as the retail boxes show 6GB of memory as a feature on the GTX 980 Ti. The rumor mill has the base clock of the GTX 980 Ti at1000 MHz with a boost clock of 1076 MHz. None of the boxes show the clock speeds, but so far the sites that are reporting the leaks on this card have been pretty spot on.
