Futuremark and MSI Announce 3DMark 11 ‘Guess the Score’ Competition

By

With the launch of 3DMark 11 just a week away Futuremark today announced a new competition to promote the new DirectX 11 benchmark. The 3DMark 11 ‘Guess the Score’ contest sees contestants trying to guess how three specific PC gaming systems will score on the upcoming benchmark. For each system the person with the closest guess to the actual score as measured by Futuremarks test lab team will win the MSI motherboard and graphics card from that system and a copy of 3DMark 11 Advanced Edition. We haven’t seen any scores from 3DMark 11 yet here at Legit Reviews, so we have no clue what a good base score would be. That makes this contest pretty much impossible, unless you can find some leaked out scores some place and then guess how these systems performed.

“Our previous competitions have tended to focused on the extreme end of overclocking,” said Jukka Mkinen, Futuremark CEO, “So it is with pleasure that we launch our new 3DMark 11 Guess the Score competition that gives everyone a chance to win some great prizes.”
